The plain-language rules for using Study Grove at griiken.online. Updated October 12, 2026.

Using Study Grove

Study Grove is a free browser study game. You may use it for personal study and play. By creating an account or signing in with Google or Discord, you agree to these terms and to the privacy notice. If you sign in with Google or Discord, their own terms also apply to that sign-in.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details private and choose a display name you are comfortable sharing. You are responsible for activity on your account. One person may hold several accounts, but accounts may not be used to impersonate others or evade a block or removal.

Shared rooms and chat

Be kind. Do not harass, threaten, spam or share hateful, sexual or illegal content, other people’s personal information, or links meant to deceive. Chat is filtered automatically and rate-limited, and players can mute or report others. We may remove messages, limit features or close accounts that break these rules.

Your content

Tasks, notes, flashcards and saves you create stay yours. You give Study Grove permission to store and process them only to run the game and sync your progress. Do not put sensitive personal information in tasks, notes or your display name.

Rewards and virtual items

Coins, XP, items and other in-game rewards have no monetary value, cannot be bought or sold for money, and may be rebalanced as the game changes. Do not use scripts, bots or exploits to earn rewards.

Availability and changes

Study Grove is provided as is, without warranties, and may change, pause or end. We try to protect your progress with backups, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service or that data will never be lost; use Settings & backup to export your local progress. These terms may be updated, and the date above will change when they are.

Contact

Questions or reports can be sent through the in-game report tools or to the operator of griiken.online.
